"Villaricca Ideas and Concreteness," Salvatore Mautone recounts the birth of an association of young people for young people.

A generation that isn't content to simply observe, but chooses to act and build. A young person who starts from the bottom and becomes a point of reference for hundreds of peers. The book "Idee e Concretezza – An Association of Young People for Young People," the official biography of Salvatore Mautone, president of the social promotion association Idee e Concretezza, has been published, with editorial support from Fa N'Art! – and thanks to the contribution of Giovanni Basile. This book recounts an authentic and concrete journey: from volunteering for the Villaricca Civil Protection Department during the pandemic, on October 20, 2024, Salvatore founded an association that in less than a year has become a point of reference for local young people, promoting cultural, social, and inclusion initiatives for those often on the margins. Salvatore is well-known throughout northern Naples, especially thanks to the prestigious "Golden Apple" award he received at the 2023 Teleclubitalia Awards, which recognized him as a young, active and socially committed individual. For this reason, many affectionately call him the "Mayor of the Young," a symbol of a new generation that doesn't give up in the face of adversity, but chooses to build the future.

A publicly recognized commitment: in 2023, Salvatore was awarded the "Golden Apple" by Teleclubitalia for his active contribution to social issues and youth volunteering.

A group united between tradition and renewal The association's name was born from a shared reflection with Angelica Basile, the president's partner, who passionately supported this project from the beginning. Angelica, who has been active in political and social life for years since a young age, brought with her a strong desire for change and the will to create a concrete initiative for the local community. Her determination and commitment were the spark that inspired the creation of Idee e Concretezza. Salvatore then transformed this vision into concrete action, building a cohesive group of young people ready to commit themselves to the community. Among the historic figures is Giulio De Rosa, still a key figure today. Alongside him, with the recent update to the bylaws, new members joined the board: Daniele Beltrami, Antonio Barbarisi, and Giuliano Cacciapuoti. Salvatore's parents, Carolina Fortunato and Domenico Mautone, are also actively supporting the project.

A manifesto book for grassroots action "Ideas and Concreteness" isn't just a biography, but a call to never give up, to believe in change that starts from the bottom. It doesn't require vast resources, just strong willpower and commitment.
